前回から2週間ほど経ったので、そろそろ結果が出たかな〜と思ってサイトに行ってみたら、なんかトラブルを告げるメッセージが。まじかぁ〜？
やっぱり、口の粘膜のこすり方が足らなかったのかとブルーになったけど、よくよく呼んでみれば、サンプルの品質の問題ではなく、含まれている遺伝子の問題の様子。
いや、なんかやばい変異をしていたりとか、何万分の1の確率で珍しい遺伝子だったりとか、人間以外の遺伝子が混ざっていたりとか、ましてや宇宙人だったりしたわけじゃなくって、一般的な解析だけでは特定できない型だということみたい。
そのため、SNP（一塩基多型）による判定を行うとある。どっちにしろ、さらに2〜3週間待つことになるみたいだ。しかしSNPってあるけど、なんの遺伝子を使うんだろう？
PROBLEM ENCOUNTERD
Your sample needs additional testing. In some cases, the standard testing procedures do not permit the accurate determination of a haplogroup, so we perform additional tests. This test is referred to as a SNP test. This is not uncommon, but will delay the posting of your results by two to three weeks. You do not need to take any action at this time.
